Once scientists and professionals recognized the enormous impact social media communication has on society, some interesting rules started to be applied. These rules or better said a bunch of standards are commonly called the algorithm updates.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. 

Are these changes comfortable for marketing, sales or media copywriting?
Not really…

On one side, the constant changes are challenging to follow; on the other side, the algorithm updates are about to restrain the sensational, manipulative and clickbait content. This activity wouldn’t be such a problem if the characteristics of modern marketing copywriting and media language wouldn’t be very similar to this malicious practice.
